The CAF group boasts an ambitious Technological Plan which boosts the investagtive activities, coordinates technological activities and promotes the collaboration of various agents, companies, universities and technological centres of reference, both on a noational and international scale.
In 2002 CAF created the CTF (Centro Tecnológico del Ferrocarril - Railway Technological Centre) to develop their R+D+I. The CTF is housed in a 4000 square metre, three floor building where approximately 250 R+D personnel work, with state-of-the-art railway computer and engineering developments.
